David White is the author behind Income Engineers Guild and The Horizon Method. He writes and builds tools for people who already have a business, still on the edge, and need to consolidate what works.

The work
Electronics apprentice at Racal Decca, then contracting, then selling ZX Spectrum keyboard upgrades off a van and trestle with no discounting. He joined Xerox to learn sales. He founded Alterindex in Newbury, a telemarketing business that grew to twenty people. He founded Weboptimiser, an SEO and PPC agency that reached sixty people and ran for twenty years.
Clients have included Cartier, Disney, and Bayer, and work for Richemont houses including Montblanc, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, and others. He sat on an FSB board, chaired the IAB Search Council, and coined Ethical Optimisation as a named refusal: a public position a client can evaluate, not a private grimace.
He wrote the books because the way through was satisfying clients, not giving up, and learning in public.
David is an uber expert at internet marketing. For example, what he doesn't know about search can be written on the back of a (small) stamp and probably isn't worth knowing. He comes highly recommended.
The books
